We’re Baaaack! After a much needed vacation, the Crew is finally back home. We had an absolute blast visiting Disney World in Orlando and then taking a three day cruise to the Bahamas. But after all of the hustle and bustle that goes along with taking a one year old to such cool places, I think we need a vacation! I have to admit, I was a little hesitant on the idea of taking Adalyn to Disney knowing she wouldn’t remember any of it. But my scroogery was quickly squashed by my wife and In-laws. In the end I’m super glad they didn’t let me have my way because seeing Adalyn’s face light up when some of her favorite Disney characters walked right up to her and gave her a kiss was…magical. I couldn’t believe how much she recognized! When Belle or Ariel was in view, Adalyn would let out the biggest screech of happiness while pointing and pulling mommy or daddy in the princesses direction. It was great. Of course us adults had an awesome time too. After zipping around Animal Kingdom, Islands of Adventure, and then Magic Kingdom, the cruise to Nassau provided just the relaxation we needed. It was no vacation for my camera though. My Lightroom catalog states that I took 944 pictures! Yikes!
