The Vest Blown Look

We certainly do not condone playing around with medical equipment.  It’s immature, irresponsible, and can be down right dangerous.  But it does make for some good pictures!  Seriously though, these shots were totally by chance.  I just happened to have been taking pictures of Adalyn during her vest treatment when, as sometimes it happens, one of the air compression tubes popped out of the vest.  I MAY have taken the time to snap a few photos of the shenanigans that ensued before fixing said situation and for that I hold my head in shame.  But, come on!  Look at these pictures!  Priceless!

CF Tidbit: Adalyn endures a 30 minute vest treatment twice a day.  The vest vibrates at a high frequency to loosen any sticky mucus caught in the lungs.

The Flash

This little lady doesn’t sit still for even a second.  Especially if there is a playground within eye view.  So, I’ve had to change up the way that I shoot.  My camera stays in Continuous Auto-Focus, Face Recognition is on (automatically focuses and tracks the face), and High-Speed shooting mode enabled (11 frames a second, AKA: The Spray-and-Pray method).  🙂
